The seed was threatened by the rampant sin on the earth and God regretted making mankind. He then made plans to destroy all living things. When a man by the name of Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, the seed was saved by preserving one family as a remnant in a large vessel called an ark that would weather the pending flood.
